We did this together.
Over the past several months, teams across our long-term care, hospital, community, support, and corporate services came together to prepare, reflect, learn, and share the work we do every day.
During the visit, our surveyors saw more than policies, procedures, and documentation. They saw compassion, teamwork, pride, honesty, and a deep commitment to the people we serve.
What the visit helped us see
Our compassion is visible
Staff, physicians, leaders, volunteers, clients, residents, families, and partners helped the surveyors see who we are, not just what we do.
Our teamwork matters
From care areas to support services, our preparation showed how many people contribute to safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
Examples bring quality to life
The strongest answers were the ones connected to real examples: what changed, why it changed, and how clients, residents, patients, and families were involved.
What we need to keep doing
Continue using huddles, boards, audits, conversations, and team meetings to show how improvement is happening in day-to-day practice.
When we describe our work, connect it back to safety, dignity, client and resident experience, and the outcomes we are trying to improve.
Accreditation gives us helpful observations and suggestions. We will use them as a roadmap to keep strengthening our systems.
Good documentation should guide practice and make the right thing easier to do. Current policies, procedures, resources, and examples help teams stay aligned.
Continue showing how client, resident, patient, family, and partner voices shape decisions, improvements, and care planning.
Accreditation may be over, but readiness continues through safe practice, clear documentation, thoughtful questions, and small improvements every day.
This work continues because it is our mission
Accreditation was never only about a survey. It was an opportunity to pause, reflect, and show how our mission, vision, and values come to life through the care and support we provide.
Thank you for your preparation, your honesty, your flexibility, and the pride you showed in your work. The visit may be complete, but our commitment to better care continues.
Living Unstoppable Compassion every day.
